Artimex Iron Co., Inc. is a structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication and erection company serving the construction industry in Southern California.

History:
Founded in 1974 by Jose J. Padilla, Artimex Iron has grown from a small metal fabrication shop in Chula Vista, California to one of the larger and most competitive structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication and erection companies in Southern California. In 1978 Artimex Iron moved to its current location in El Cajon, California and in February 1980, Artimex Iron was incorporated as Artimex Iron Co., Inc. Today we provide services for structural steel, open-web steel joists and joist girders, metal deck, metal fabrications, miscellaneous metals, metal stairs, tube and pipe railings and ladders.

Fabrication Facility:
Our fabrication facility is located in the City of El Cajon, San Diego County, California at the proximity of Interstate 8 and State Highway 67. Artimex Iron is centralized in the San Diego County area. Covering over 76,000 square feet, Artimex Iron has the capacity to produce over 600 tons of structural steel per month and employs over 40 shop laborers with a dedicated office staff of thirteen.

Artimex Iron is a City of Los Angeles approved fabrication facility. We adhere our fabrication practices in accordance to the AISC Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings and Bridges.

Erection:
Our erection company, J.K. Enterprises, employs the best ironworkers from Ironworkers Local Union #229. Our field team is dedicated to performing safe, professional work in a timely manner to ensure quality and satisfaction to our customers.
